About Cynthia
Living with painful headaches and joint instability, I began studying yoga and strength training to improve my own well-being in 2003. Wanting to share this same sense of freedom and make yoga accessible to as many people as possible, I pursued my RYT-200 training and certified ACE Personal Trainer certifications.
I offer a welcoming, accessible, purposeful approach to yoga and fitness. I specialize in alignment-based practices and have experience teaching hatha, therapeutic and chair yoga. Using a variety of props, including walls, chairs, bolsters and foam rollers, I help students build strength, stability and mind-body awareness. I encourage individual discovery and active discussions, empowering everyone to make their yoga practice truly their own.

I believe in PRESENCE, PURPOSE and PRACTICE - especially balancing effort and ease is all aspects of daily life.
Other aspects of my daily life that help me fulfill my balance are spending time with my cat who behaves like a dog and learning new things. I enjoy being creative - with fitness, food, digital/graphic design and event planning, and I love traveling with my husband!
